Our mission at She Shoots Film is to improve the representation, consideration and celebration of women in the field of photography.   

In a world where the dominant gaze is still male, we believe that it’s important to seek out and share a more nuanced and diverse gaze.  And that is why our work brings women’s perspectives and voices to the forefront.

We support a positive shift in language, perception and behaviour - a shift that supports gender equality. 

We believe in collaboration and want to be a part of a change that leads to a transformation in unity.

To accomplish our purpose, we use print, digital presence, products and events as our vehicles to connect our work to our audience. 

Put simply, our goal is to center the women in film photography and create a space where inclusion leads to equality.
